Opera in January: Too Many Sopranos

Survived first battle with Cicadas! It was definitely challenging when they landed on the children I was babysitting! They are BIG and just shouldn't land on little children!!
 

She had to be pretty firm at Chris' graduation to let his brothers know she did NOT enjoy the "Let's throw Cicada's at Amy Game!"

Mom, Dad, Chris, Kara, and several of her Wheaton buddies came to see her sing her first "Jazz Gig" at Timpano's Chophouse restaurant in Naperville.  She wouldn't let Mom take any photos though.
 

Spent her summer working with the Outer Circle team in San Francisco to serve and develop friendships with the homeless of San Francisco.

Stayed in this house that is owned by Westmont College.  It actually was under renovation all summer!

While there, she got to meet up with one of her parents favorite professors, Dr. Mc Reynolds

She moved into an off campus apartment with some friends from Wheaton.  Ashley was one of her room mates during her sophomore year too.

She graduates from Wheaton in May so she's been reflecting on the purpose of her life "after graduation."  She's applied to grad schools in Chicago and San Francisco to continue her music education.  But, she continues to search for the best way to serve the world and hopefully will have a clearer understanding of what that might be by summer!
