We have had our own panics with sickness this year but am glad to say things seem to be on the up side. I enjoyed reading all the news about the family. It always surprises me how quickly our children grow up. Anna and Mia are in 5th and 3rd grade respectively and I am dreading middle school. This year, Jay goes to Hawaii and will be stationed there for two years (yes, YEARS!) As a family, we decided to see how we fared without him this year and reassess our decision in the summer. So far, the girls and I are doing fine. We will be visiting in February and again in April. Hope to see you soon Linda. Rosemary Richards

Loved the Christmas cards. Can you show us how to do something like this for our family next year? How are your kids doing so well in college and how do you do it financially? Dan is graduating this year from high school. Though we don't have much money, we know God will provide. He may go to a local community college for two years then onward from there. Hi Linda, I figured it out, thank you very much! At 71 I am not always as computer savy as I think I am. LOved the pictures and all the updates. Where have the years gone? Robin and kids were down for christmas so that was fun. J.T. (Oldest grandchild,20) is in Germany as an exchange student and loving it. Taking all kinds of little trips when $ and time allows. Ryan (19) is planning on being a missionary and has started saving up to go to Perth for training. Kyle(19) was taking automotive classes but now? who knows. He may start up again in the summer. Maddy (17) is a junior and is taking college classes. Brendan(16)is a junior and doing better at the alternative school he is going to now. Welding has become his passion. Danae is a darling and wonderful fun at 8. I am still reading for Gail Graves, putting books on the internet for Poway Friends of the Library and doing displays for the Historical Society. Love hearing from you. Lucille

Loved reading your family news--as always! My heart aches for your losses and rejoices in all the accomplishments of your super-smart, super-talented clan. One quick question: what kind of surgery did Amy have on her knee? Several friends (and I) have undergone ACL reconstruction and miniscus repair, but none of us sported a cast like hers!

I've been waiting for this - thanks for sending it. We have snow forecasted for Christmas day. It will be our first, except for a few flakes (I guess it's not nice to talk about people like that). It's been beautiful the last few days, even though in the 30's. I must be getting used to it because I haven't needed my thermal underwear or a heavy coat. Hope your Christmas is joyous. Sue

Thanks for the visit with all the family. I just love this and look forward to catching up....well you never really catch up with a Foote!!! :) We have been in Longmont, CO now for a year. I am loving being Grandma to our 3 grandkids. Gibson is 11 (6th grade), Sophia is 2 1/2 and so much fun, creative....loves to pretend with Gramma Minda and Ryder, born Nov 15th to be Sophia's little baby brother. He is delightful as he sleeps, eats, cries etc!! We are so bless. I see them often as we live just 30 minutes away. We have found an awesome church LifeBridge Christian Church. I have not found my place of serving yet, but keep trying on different hats! Tom continues with his consulting and Freedom in Christ conferences. He is bringing Neil Anderson to Denver in April and that big undertaking is keeping him very busy. Oh yes, just yesterday we were at the local pastor's luncheon for all of Boulder County and Tom and I won a cruise to the Caribbean in March. It was a put your name in the hat and then a drawing.
