They should try to get together some day...I know how busy they both must be!! Andrea will be in St. Louis working at the St. Louis Dispatch for winter quarter as part of her journalism program at Northwestern. Brent just finished up at Davis and will remain up in the Sacramento area working. He is going great and pretty excited to be done with college and is very interested in golf course management..he is working at a golf course and loves it! It was great to read about and see all of the wonderful things happening in your life. I hope the Lord has blessed you throughout the year and that you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I have accepted a new position as the Headmaster at a private school in Lubbock Texas starting next school-year. It will be hard to leave this school where I have been the Principal for so long. I really love my kids here. Thanks for including us! So glad to hear that all are healthy & happy. We are all well, our oldest Bethany graduates from High School this year and is waiting to hear from colleges.Emily is the same grade as Amy, so she will not be long for the nest, and our youngest is in 8th grade. All 3 are involved in church and school activities and doing well, thank God. When I thank God for my blessings I always thank him for Evan and Linda, who loved me and really were Jesus to me. You made me want to have a life centered around faith, and I am blessed to have that. I will be in Heaven, along with my husband and kids, thanks to you two. Your "Foote-steps" is such a joy each year. Although we are a part of the church, there is so much to each one of your lives that may not reach our ears nor eyes. So, we thank you for sharing! Chipper and I are planning a very quiet Christmas this year, seeing the boys on Christmas Eve. Their lives are so busy with work, school and girlfriends, they try to squeeze us in when they can, but they do stay in touch by phone. You all have a very Merry Christmas and a joyous new year. I love you guys. I pray that the Lord continues to bless you this coming year as much as He did in this past. I would love to see you, Lord willing sometime this year on one of my trips "up". Please tell Kara, especially, that I am praying for her as she studies medicine. I am really excited for her :) I also am seriously praying about going to med school, but in Guadalajara, Mexico. Lord, bless those we love this Christmas Day, be they near or far away. Bless those good friends who mean so much, and those with whom we’re out of touch. We bring them all to You in prayer, and ask You to keep them in Your care. Our thoughts and prayers are well said in this little verse. Our Lord has promised His strong presence in our lives and His presence is the truest blessing of any we can receive. We in turn bless Him for all that He has made possible for us and for His presence sustaining us through each day. The troubles in the world and in our country weigh heavily upon us, and seems to maks our personal burdens even heavier. But, the Lord has promised that “Since He is for us, who can be against us?” That promise is one of the many comforting promises that have come to us. We pray that this promised blessing will be one of your comforts also. John’s last surgery in October seems to be resolving the problems he has dealt with for many years. Hhe continues to work fulltime. We are very, very thankful for that. Katherine continues in her strong health and in her service as volunteer manager of the Heirloom Shoppe. She will be honored at Hope’s December Commencement for her service. We are in our 36th year with the College and University and we pray for many more.

Dear Linda, Thank you for thinking of us during this holiday season. I loved reading about the many activities and accomplishments of the Foote family. We have relocated to the state of Washington and are living close to Redmond where Barry is now working for Microsoft. I am continuing to work for Lightspan by telecommuting and am also beginning data collection for my dissertation. Carley is 17 months old and Sean will be three in February. They are the light of our lives and being a mom is definitely fulfilling and busy! Now that I work from home, I have more time with the kids too.
