This past year has been packed with fun and challenging events. I started off my year by following in Kara's footsteps and playing lacrosse. It's one of my favorite sports to play now and I plan to try out again this next spring season.

Towards the end of the school year I prepared to try out for a choir called Women's Ensemble. I made it and am now enjoying being exposed to more advanced music and choir surroundings. This year we sang part of Handel's Messiah for our school Winter Concert which is why I chose it for the background music on this web page. One of the other high points of being in this choir is that we wear formal gowns when we sing instead of choir robes! We also were able to perform for our first Madrigal Dinner. It was so much fun to dress and act in character and to sing and serve at the tables.

During the summer I was surprisingly busy with activities, fun, and camps. The camps included Angeles Crest Christian Camp, Nike Lacrosse Camp at USD, and a Surfing/Watersports camp at the Mission Bay Aquatics Center.  Oh, and I also got to help out with our church VBS camp. For our family vacation, we spent a week at Hume Lake Christian Camp , so it seemed like I was at camp once again!

I learned many new skills this summer and had an awesome time.  The beginning of this school year has been fun but also challenging as I try to balance the many activities which I would like to participate in.

I hope this year has been great for you and that your new one is awesome as well.
