Well I'm in the middle of another school year, but it's not at Twin Peaks.  I've graduated and gone on to Poway High school.  My new choir teacher is the best and hopefully I can get into a higher choir as I learn more and more. I'm having fun learning my first foreign language, Spanish. One of my other classes that is a lot of fun is biology.  High school has it's ups and downs but I won't go into all of that.

For our summer vacation we took a road trip up the coast of California. (I love hotels!)  One of our stops was at the Monterey Bay Aquarium which had a kid center. Here you can see me trying to be Pocket.  (Pocket is my pet tortoise who at the moment is trying to hibernate.)  The aquarium had story time, a stage, and lots of things to dress up in.  Bat rays, turtles, clownfish, snails, and much more.  Since a turtle is quite close to the best animal in my opinion, I decided to go on stage as a turtle. Attacking fellow sister snails and brother bat rays was a great part of the show.

I loved going back to Wheaton to stay in Kara's dorm room again in November.  We were able to stay five days this time, so we explored even more of Chicago. Here we have Josh and me in bug cocoons in the Chicago Field Museum.  We were "underground" looking at tons of insects from, well an insect's point of view. It was sort of like checking out how bugs would live. Well, you at least experienced their  surroundings.  We saw attacking crawdads, hissing earwigs, and hairy spinning tarantulas.    Anyway, I'm not sure what these old cocoons were from, but it's a great photo opportunity.

Well, those are the highlights of my year.  I had a lot of wonderful adventures and I hope you had a great year too.  I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
